I've never seen a graffiti artist at work and never expected they would do it in broad day light. Glad to be allowed to take a few photos of them as who knows when I will meet another.

I spotted a heavily laden bicycle by the river before I noticed Daniela sat behind it eating breakfast before heading off to Frankfurt as part of her journey to cycle to the sea in the North of Germany which she had set aside a month to do. It made me feel like I need to challenge myself more too!

It baffles me that so many people sleep rough out in the open with no protection in case of rain, animals or the cold. Let alone finding somewhere that you are less likely to get approached by muggers or worse. She said she had a place to go to but it was too late to get there that night so she slept there.

Guo shifu
I've been very lucky in martial arts practice that I met people along the way who knew what they were doing and could teach it well! I'm glad I could spend the long weekend with master Guo and a bunch of great tai chi and Bagua students with the same passion and energy. One day I hope I learn some more Chinese than just ni hao.

Making the most of your time
This guy was taking down the fairground attraction sign before the last day of the Offenbach volksfest tomorrow just as the evening's fireworks started. My planned location for the fireworks didn't pan out as they were lower than I expected, so I hustled closer and noticed him on the roof. I'm glad I managed to get a couple of shots before the display ended.

Ray of light
I never take photos on my phone normally but took one of this Cadillac for posterity only to get some extreme light rays from the low sun streaming through the wooden boards. I got my camera out to reproduce the effect on better hardware but try as I might I couldn't find the right spot again.

Very lucky to stop on the way home today and overhear a familiar song which was the sound check for a live show in Offenbach from Akua Naru and got to take some photos.
